» First school in Lucknow and among a few in the country to implement the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program (IB PYP) for classes Nursery to Fifth. (see www.ibo.org)

» First school in Lucknow to implement the Cambridge International Examinations Program for classes 6th to 8th. (see www.cie.org.uk)

» THE MODERN SCHOOL is a candidate school* for the Primary Years Programme. This school is pursuing authorization as an IB World School. » First school in India to be certified for ISO9002:1994, during May 1997, and then subsequently for ISO9001:2000.

» Recipient of the prestigious Golden Peacock National Award for Excellence in Training in 1997.

» First school in India to be accredited to Quality Council of India’s NABET Standard for Quality School Governance, since January 16, 2009. (see list of accredited schools on www.qci.org/nabet). This standard was created by QCI on the behest of the then President Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam.
